Give Your Time
Ready to Help?
As a Mentor
Our mentors work directly with our youth. After attending a Mentor Orientation and Training, you will be considered for a one-on-one match with one of our youth. We do ask for a year long commitment, and offer the opportunity for a longer Mentorship to our youth.
Our mentor applicants must be dependable and dedicated to the success of our youth. We look for leadership qualities, and the ability to provide support and guidance to your mentee.
As a Volunteer
Our volunteers are professional community members who will offer training classes to the youth. These training classes will teach youth the skills needed for independent living, self sufficiency, and social support. Topics can range from health & nutrition, money management, budgeting, hygiene, conflict resolution, employment preparation, educational attainment, arts & crafts and healthy relationships to name a few. Classes are typically held four times a month in the evening.
Mentors and Volunteers will receive a handbook.
