If so when and where?*Please identify two of your personal qualities you feel will help you succeed in this position.*List three people who can serve as a character reference for you.*NameAddressPhoneRelationship DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Responsible for the daily operations and overall healthy functioning of the TFOYH program Oversee the TFOYH participants, staff (resident advisors and case managers), mentors and volunteers Enforce house rules, policies and procedures and hold participants and staff accountable Ensure all records are kept secure, confidential and up-to-date Respond to requests for information from the public, prospective participants or other interested parties Represent the TFOYH in a highly professional manner including public speaking and attending events Attend and report at monthly board of directors meetings Behave as a positive role model and foster effective teamwork between all program participants Provide a safe and supportive environment for participants and staff Ensure utilization of all safety measures including fire sprinkler system, security system, key codes, etc Remain on call 24-hours per day/7-days per week for emergency situations Delegate household tasks as needed to promote a clean, safe and comfortable living environment Send weekly updates to the President of the Board Fundraise to support the operations of the program and home Other duties as assigned by the Board of Directors If you agree to become a Resident Advisor you will be asked to agree to requirements including but not limited to the following: Run one house meeting per month (more if said to be necessary by the Executive Director/Case Manager) Lead one fun activity with the residents per month Create a chore system Follow House Rules, Policies, Responsibilities and Maintenance Requirements Make sure house needs are met and home is kept clean by residents Spend a minimum of five (5) hours per week (doesn’t include sleeping hours) at the house engaging with the residents Attend Twin Falls Optimist Youth House, Inc. major events and fundraisers If you agree to become an Independent Living Coordinator you will be asked to agree to requirements including but not limited to the following: Determines participants' needs by completing needs assessments and creating a living plan. Be the youth’s advocate and assist them in advocating for themselves. Establish schedules and routines; coordinating services being provided; arranging resources, workshops, and events with the youth. Monitors cases by verifying clients' attendance; observing and evaluating responses; intervening in crisis; and providing personal support. Maintains clients' records by reviewing case notes; logging events and progress. Assists in the learning of life skills including but not limited to cleaning, hygiene, nutrition, finance, communication, health, and Foster a safe, nurturing, caring atmosphere for the youth who reside in the Youth house.
